IT'S ON!
European Fighting Network organised a press conference at the
Amsterdam ArenA to
announce they will promote one the most spectacular fights of 2009 at the venue - Sem Schilt against Badr Hari.
May 16 will see Hari make his first appearance in a Dutch ring
for four years against three
-times K-1 champion Schilt.
Both fighters shared their thoughts about the match with the press, who appeared in great
numbers.
Badr showed a lot of respect for the achievements of his 2.12m tall
opponent. Nevertheless,
Badr said he will go for the KO.
Schilt wasn't impressed by Badr's words but said that he thinks
this match will partly
determine his future.
The offer to fight Badr at It's Showtime came as a surprise to Schilt,
since he expected
this fight to happen in Japan, not in The
Netherlands.
